Microsoft has announced the pricing for the Zune earlier this month. Zune, which rumours to be the popular Apple iPod killer, is a Digital Media Player from Microsoft that incorporates WiFi capability, 30GB of HDD, built-in FM, a 3-inch screen and the basic music, pictures and video playback.

Japan’s biggest gaming and entertainment event, the Tokyo Game Show 2006 (TGS), was held recently at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, attracting a record number of exhibitors and thousands of scantily clad young babes to promote them.

Apart from the Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360, standing out among the game show were those scantily clad young girls manning the online gaming exhibits. Large numbers of booth babes also rode the otaku boom bandwagon, dressing up like mangas and anime characters as cosplayers.

The games are nice, the booth babes are nicer. For more photos, head over to Japanese MSN Mainichi. They published tonnes of Tokyo Game Show 2006 booth babes and promotion girls photos.
If the photos were not enough, then try the following video.

Neatorama reader Lewis Jaffe has a quirky blog about collecting bookplates or ex libris [wiki] (a printed piece of paper pasted on the inside front cover to show the ownership). Lewis’ collection is fantastic: he has images of ex libris from Walt Disney, Samuel Colt, and even one for Rockefeller as drawn by Pablo Picasso! Check it out: Link - Thanks Lewis! |
