I simply loved it!
Its one of the brilliant piece of art direction, I have seen in recent times for “New History of the World.” I love the way they’ve mixed two different historic events happened on the same time at diffent parts of the world. History Channel’s campaign was somewhat on the same lines of using two different events in one ad, but this one is definitely different.

Cannes - Young Creative!
AAAI along with Times of India organised the AAAI-Cannes Young Creatives Contest 2006. The theme was “prevent female foeticide”. Preity Verma and Rajat Dawer of Rediffusion DY&R Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon were today adjudged as the winners. The winning team will be flying off to the Cannes Advertising Festival in June to be the official Indian representatives and to compete with about forty-five teams from all over the world in the prestigious International Young Creatives Contest. Congrats!
(For people who don’t know about Kalpana: Kalpana Chawla was the India’s first woman astronaut. She died in a space accident on February 1, 2003 )
