Bear with me on this, it promises to be your bizarre news of the day. Or the wtf story for the cooler, depending on where you fit into the grapevine.
So, here goes. Russian fishermen in Rostov recently made the catch of the day - a strange, shark-like creature.
Except it was not really a shark. The absence of the gaping mouth, biting chunk off your leg sort of movements, as is typical of any self respecting shark, was a bit of a giveaway.
Plus there was no ‘Jaws’ style music tingling up their spines. This could be due to the abnormal squeaky noises emitted by their ‘catch’. Hard to be scared of a sea creature that sounds like your son’s sleeping toy.
Must have looked quite unlike any shark-like creature we know because by the time the zealous scientists and ufologists showed up at the scene, Squeaky Shark was chopped, cooked and nestling […]

In Hayden Idaho, a man in his mid 20’s whose name was withheld, who believed he bore the “mark of the beast” amputated one of his hands with a circular saw, then cooked it in the microwave then called 911.
According to sheriff’s Capt. Ben Wolfinger the man, was calm when he arrived at his northern Idaho town. “It had been somewhat cooked by the time the deputy arrived,” Wolfinger said. “He put a tourniquet on his arm before, so he didn’t bleed to death. That kind of mental illness is just sad.”

Here’s a bizarre story: a man bought a barbecue smoker from a storage facility auction and found an amputated leg inside of it!
John Wood’s leg was amputated near the knee after a 2004 airplane crash. He asked doctors to give it to him so he could be buried as a whole man when he died.
