Eight-year-old Zach Bonner is the founder of the Little Red Wagon Foundation, a non-profit organization to help children in distressed situations. Zach began his charity work in response to Hurricane Charlie in 2004, when he was six years old! Since then, he has helped various charities raise funds to buy school supplies, backpacks, and Christmas gifts for needy, abused, and homeless children. His goal is to raise a million dollars for various children’s charities. Why?
First off, because it is a lot of fun, and second because someone told me I couldn’t raise a million dollars if I tried. I have a long way to go and a lot of kids to help to reach my goal but one day I will.

Alexander Overwijk, a teacher from Ottawa (Canada), is one of the fastest Circle Drawers in the world. In this video, he draws a close-to-perfect 3 foot wide circle in one second. Even if he did not win the seemingly non-existent World Freehand Circle Drawing Competition, his talent is still impressive.

From the website:
Yang Huimin, a 28-year-old man from Central China’s Henan Province, had what he thought was a pimple on face when he was 4. But during the next 24 years, the small swelling grew bigger and bigger, eventually covering the entire left side of his face.

Dark Roasted Blend has some great pictures of wind farms ranging from construction, to shots of wind farms in use (like the one above), to large scale failure of the blades. Until seeing these shots, I never realized the massiveness of wind turbines - some of the blades are each more than 200 feet in length!
